Getting Closer
Mini camp has started. Falcon football is in the air. I've lost 20 pounds.....Life is good
Well almost
Apparently, Steve Wyche at the Atlanta Journal Consitution recieved an interview with draft god Mel Kiper jr.
Why does this bother me?
Because i've been E-mailing this wig wearing bastard for about about a month asking him to give me about 3 minutes of his time for my blog!!
He hasn't even returned my E-mail!
Anyway. He gives Steve nothing in their interview, so it's cool
CB/S. Cedric Griffin, Texas: A big-time hitter who probably will play safety in the NFL. Not a great pass defender but someone who could be groomed to be the in-the-box safety by veteran Lawyer Milloy. Also could contribute immediately on special teams and possibly in nickel coverages.
S Daniel Manning, Abilene Christian: Another big hitter with great speed. Originally signed at Nebraska. He could be better in coverage than Griffin. Manning dominated on the small college level and has a great nose for the ball. He also returns kickoffs and punts and is a punt/kick blocking stalwart. His versatility could be a major plus for the Falcons.
DE Mathias Kiwanuka, Boston College – The 6-5, 256-pound Grandfather of Uganda’s first prime minister is an awesome pass rusher, but only average against the run. The Falcons already have a pass-rushing end in Jonathan Abraham.
DE Darryl Tapp, Va. Tech. – At 6-1, 260, Tapp seems to be a ‘tweener that some teams are looking at as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 alignment. Though small, he is a brutal hitter and relentless playmaker who is stout against the run. There is a faction among the Falcons’ staff that really likes him. Plus, he played collegiately at the Falcons’ AAA farm club.
Call me crazy, but don't the Falcons already have enough safetys and defensive ends?
How about a Defensive Tackle or a Corner or sumthin that we actually need now
And while i'm on ESPN..... Enough about Barry Bonds please!!!!
I know he did roids, stop telling me about how bad of a guy he is, because i don't care anymore.
I'm so sick of that shit
Steve also has the Pros and Cons of trading Matt Schaub
TRADE HIM
1. The Falcons could land a first-round pick in return. If Atlanta wouldn't move Schaub Schaub for defensive end John Abraham, it's going to take a lot — like a top-20 pick — to get the Falcons to bite on an offer for Schaub. Should Atlanta get such an offer, it would seem hard to refuse. Think about it: a first-round pick for a third-round selection with two career starts.
3. Schaub might never be the starter in Atlanta, and the team could get great value in a trade for him. Though the Falcons could match any free-agent offer another team makes for Schaub after the 2006 season — or get compensation if Schaub leaves — his value might never get higher than it is now. Schaub becomes an unrestricted free agent after the 2007 season and could bolt to another team with Atlanta getting nothing.
4. If Schaub goes somewhere else and doesn't develop as expected, the Falcons, who would have received a potential impact draft pick, would look like geniuses
My thoughts exactly
Mike Vick keeps repeating himself here Vick Vows To Show The Real No. 7 This Year
I want to be mobile," he said. "I want to be Michael Vick. I want to play my game."
Vick wore a brace on his knee for much of the season, which forced to cut back on his one-of-a-kind running ability. His passing numbers weren't all that great, either, and the Falcons collapsed in the second half of the season to miss the playoffs.
"My knee was bothering me all year," he said. "I never cried about it. I never complained about it. I just tried to do the best I can for the team. Now, I'm 100 percent healthy. I'm where I used to be."
The only part i really care about is this--
In an effort to maximize Vick's speed and create more running room, the Falcons may take some snaps out of the shotgun this season.
"It doesn't matter whether I'm under center or in the shotgun, as long as I can be on the move," Vick said. "I want to get on the edge so I can show my elusiveness."
Eager to atone for the disappointing season, Vick has been an avid participant in the Falcons' offseason program for the past month. It's time well spent, giving him a chance to work with new quarterback coach Bill Musgrave and develop a rapport with receivers Michael Jenkins and Roddy White, who've been in the league a total of three seasons.
We're all trying to get on the same page," Vick said. "I want to throw the ball right at them so they can catch it. I didn't do that all the time last year."
Musgrave has been focusing on Vick's footwork and trying to get him to put more touch on his throws. Already, White is feeling more comfortable on the other end of Vick's passes.
If he could teach Vick how to lead a reciever with his throws, he'd be a GODIn News that means nothing. Lil Bow Wow Responds To Lil' Romeo And Master P.
The feud between Bow Wow and Lil' Romeo has intensified, as Bow Wow has responded to comments Master P made surrounding the two rappers' growing beef. Lil' Romeo's father, Master P confirmed that the two rappers had crossed paths backstage at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Award show, on April 1st.
According to Master P, Bow Wow ran in his trailer and refused to talk about tensions with Lil' Romeo. Now, Bow Wow has come forward to address Master P and Lil' Romeo.
"I can't understand all this, but I guess that's how it is when you ain't getting no attention," Bow Wow told AllHipHop.com. "You can hear me on the radio all day, every day. You [Lil' Romeo] can't sell no records, and your daddy is on Dancing With the Stars."
Lil' Romeo was apparently offended at the line on the song "Fresh Azimiz," where Bow Wow claimed to be making more money than an unspecified person's father. Romeo released a diss to Bow Wow titled, "Hood Stars."
Master P also accused Bow Wow's success of going to the rapper's head. "I just think Bow Wow done sold a couple records and got real cocky, and forgot where he came from," Master P said in a previous interview.
Bow Wow dismissed Master P's allegations. "The crazy part is the line that got them all bent outta shape was an old LL line ("The Do Wop from LL Cool J's 1987 album Bigger and Deffer). That shows how much they know about Hip-Hop."
Bow Wow also countered Master P's challenge to a Pay-Per-View boxing match between Romeo and Bow Wow. "If Romeo wanna make some real money, come sign with me," Bow Wow said. "Then, he wouldn't have to pull these stunts 'cause there ain't No Limit over here."
I know nobody cares but, Master P is like 45, what is he doing involved in this? This is why i'm starting to hate Rap Music.
Bow Wow is a grown ass man. This bullshit is stupid.
Plus, it's never good when your girl is about 3 inches taller than you.
I'm a fucking loser for even mentioning this!
Moving on....
Oh yea, Sick Vick.....go see that new Superman shit next month.
Another Season of the Flavor of Love!!!
There is a GOD!!!!

LaVar Arrington = NFC Title
Sorry!
Ill, is that the same Lavar Arrington that couldn't get his ass off the bench last year?
He reeeally deserved that 7 year deal, huh?
Btw, How's Eli?
He's going to be a man possesed! And, besides, it's really like a five year deal -- and the better he plays, the more money he makes, so I'm all for him reaching seven years if he wants to.
And Eli's doing well -- far better than Vick's knee, that's for sure.
I'm glad that Vick's knee is feeling like it did when we won the NFC South and got to the Championship game. Hooorrayyyyyy.
Oh, and I'm also glad Bow Wow is picking fights with 60 year old rappers......I can't believe you put anything about Bow Wow in your blog E. Love.
And I wanted to watch a movie this weekend....any good ones out?
I don't really care about Bow Wow
It's just kinda funny to me
Rent a DVD
Thanks for all your help, sir.
Alright....
